When I had my Nicca 3S overhauled, I asked the repairman, an elderly German gentleman, what his opinion of the Nicca was.
He replied that, as far as he was concerned, it was as good as any Barnack Leica.

I am the buyer. It just came in this morning and it is beautiful. I also have a Leica IIIF,
which this camera seems to be based on. My first impression is that the Tower 45 is
a big step up from the III-C and III-F design. The lever wind advance and the flip up
back door make film loading a LOT easier than other bottom loading Barnacks, and
an extra long film leader is unnecessary.
