Tough black paint for touching up cameras.

Hi all! I know some of you like the brassed look. But sometimes I need to touch up some spots. And I found most black pens and paint just don't hold up.

Some earlier threads have mentioned krylon but a spray will be too messy.
I need something I can dab small amounts in precise locations. But it must adhere well and be tough so it does not immediately wear off.

Recommendations?

Surface prep plays an important part of how well the paint adheres/last. Clean with 90% Isopropyl Alcohol or similar degreaser that leaves no residue.
Birchwood Casey Super Black instant touch up pen is available in gloss or flat black for those that the link does not work for.

I had the same problem with Mamiya TLR. The paint on the edges of the back panel always coming off. I paint it after every use again with oil based black Rust Oleum paint for metals and it coming off after next outing. Last time I Paint it with Rust Oleum white oil based primer first and after it dry with the same black paint. It was a year ago and so far it stays. Another good option I think could be the touch up black paint for appliances, like refrigerators, washing machines. It available in the Home Depot in a little plastic cans same size like a nail polish and it is an epoxy based, so it may have a very strong adhesion. But i didn't try it yet.

Someone turned me onto this stuff, it's amazing! I got one satin and a gloss and it works REALLY well. Hycote satin and gloss auto touch-up paint.

The real problem is getting the touch up to blend smoothly, both in shade/gloss and texture. I recently saw a Zeiss (Zeiss paint chipped very easily) where the black paint was completely removed and the underlying aluminum was polished. Looked very nice.

Go to an auto parts store and get automotive touch up paint.
