Saturday May 20, 2006 or Saturday June 3, 2006 Cost is Canadian $195
This is a hands on beginner workshop for photographers who have never shot with a large format camera but are already experienced with digital, 35 mm or medium-format cameras, and want to try the 4x5 field camera.
Using our wood field cameras, lenses and tripods, we will start at the beginning. Loading film, setting up the camera, selecting the right lens, learning the camera and taking pictures.
At the end of the day, you'll leave with an appreciation of the big camera, the skills to start off on your own.... and exposed black and white film from the days shoot.
All you need to bring to enjoy the day is enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and maybe some lunch and water.
