Hello All,

I'm in the woods taking pinhole shots of mushrooms. It's my fault because I should have loaded in the car rather than in the field. I made a balls up, the paper tore and then I couldn't attach to the take up spool. I tried tearing the paper to make a tab which could go into the spool but it wouldn't take. Frustrating.

If this happened to you, how would you have solved it?

Tape? Always good to have some tape stuck to a clean surface or such when shooting 120 film. Sometimes the sealing tab gets torn or won't grab, another use.

Also, maybe you did this, but remember htat you can get the paper attached to the take-up spool before it is trapped in the camera. You can also attach the spool, get it in place, and then insert the film spool into its chamber. This can give you more room to get things in place (but yeah, gets tricky to get everything in the camera with only two hands).
