Tool for adjusting PC plug

I remember many years ago when using synch cords on studio or on camera flash guns a simple tool that you could us on the PC plug to make a tighter fit on the synch plug on your camera or lens. Are they still made or for sale any more? I would like to buy one.

Thanks, but at that price I’ll figure out something else. I think they used to be $10 or less years ago.

Just bought a new one for $15 on Ebay.

I am intrigued as to how this tool works.

Is it just a small tube that fits over the centre pin , allowing it to be bent into the correct square angle?
The other end having a conical hole to push over the plug, thereby tightening the outer sleeve?

If so, those who have access to a lathe could easily make their own and save few bob.

In time the end of a synch cord which has a pin inside a tube, which has a two slits 180 degrees from each other, becomes loose. The tool fits over the end of the plug reforming it so it fits tight on the part it mates too.
The tool itself is just a round piece of metal with a hole in one end.
Hopefully this make sense.

FWIW, that phone number and extension does not go to Paramount. I've been suspecting for a long time that the existing Paramount web presence is bogus. A while ago I sent an email asking if they were still conducting business and received no reply, The phone number is for Roanwell Corporation, which has a rather sparse and ambiguous website. I miss hte olden days of Paramount cords; their products and service were once excellent.

I seem to remember Paramount went out of business over 5 years ago and sold their stock to some company that was reselling the remaining inventory.

Maybe the "intellectual" and business rights were transferred as well, but I don't think the old company exists as of today.
