I have been trying out Fotospeed's liquid emulsion on flat raw maple veneered timber and like the results I'm getting. To make it archival, I presume toning it is no different to toning a paper print. Am I right?
Also, does anyone know if the timber will react to the emulsion over time. I know if maple timber is polished with a clear lacquer, it will darken (mellow) a little over a few years. I wondered if the emulsion might have a similar affect.
Any thoughts?
Peter
