Tomkins Box

I have one of these boxes - a 20 x 16 model - that I used in the past. I now have a young friend to whom I have given most of my darkroom kit, as I am approaching my dotage and he is keen. But I cannot for the life of me remember how to use the Tomkins Box, and I do not have any instructions. Can anyone help?

Tomkins Box?

I'm assuming Tomkins papersafe box? Google doesn't seem super helpful on details, as the only relevant results it is giving me currently is one for sale with a single photo of a fairly simple looking blue box with zero indication of how it is used, and an old thread on here with a lot of dead links and no obvious useful answers.

I'm still putting together an effective darkroom setup, and papersafe options are still one of my missing components, so rather curious to hear more about this one.

The threads you gave me are not very helpful, to me anyway. Perhaps you are more familiar with flickr and similar - I can't find any useful leads amidst a torrent of irrelevant threads. Can you help to point me where I want to go, please?
