Without going into a long history, I'm happy that I am revisting Film only this time I've been learning the darkroom myself and begin tomorrow developing.
While some feel it's going backwards, I feel strong that I am moving forwards with my art/craft. I shoot both dSLR and Med Format (film and Digial back) and simply cannot get the dynamic range that I want and for what ever reason I simply perfer film. Also have but never really had the chance nor the time. Now I do and I will.
I've never seen this site but after following a video from Mr. Brunner I'm glad I did. (got to love that Mr. Brunner)
I'm really enjoying myself here and thank you.

I shoot film and digital too. I got back to film about a year ago and have made the jump from 35mm to MF and now to 4x5 (with a 5x7 back on my field camera that I have yet to use). Oh, the peer pressure
Welcome from the Washington, DC area. I once lived in Brigantine and taught school in Hammonton. A bit of a commute, but a nice ride. Oh, and I shot kids's home portraits everywhere below the White Horse Pike to Cape May Point.
HI Tom - welcome.
It's a step forward. I shoot both film and digital but my digi is only when the client requires it. My personal work is film only.
Enjoy

Hey. Tom. Welcome from down the river/bay. Jason is a riot as well as a varitable font of knowledge, as are a bunch of the folks here. Let us know how that processing comes out, will ya.
Welcome Tom. I'm relatively close to you in Hamilton. Keep a lookout for our occasional trips out and about. We're about due for one once the weather warms up.
