A couple of years ago in Shanghai, I saw the attached "interestingly mismatched" photography t-shirt in a crowd. (Sorry for the blurry d*g*t*l photo.) I've never been able to determine where it came from; otherwise I'd buy one in a hot minute.
THere were APUG tshirts available a few years ago. As well as Texas LF shirts. Maybe someone can be prompted to make some up again. Mine is badly stained from photo chems!!
If I was having one made, it'd say "My other body is a temple".
I've actually got an unused "XL" bright red tee-shirt from Aperture Photographic in London with Leica emblazoned on it.......(unused as it's a bit snug just now).
There is so much material in this concept... Imagine a shirt filled with film cameras, or one different camera on every shirt, or "size matters" with an ULF and a human beside for comparison, or film camera schematics, or an enlarger, or a lesson in film photography, or... or... the possibilities are endless!
I have printed for myself two shirts with the Hasselblad logo (black on white and white on black) and one with a stylised Rolleiflex 2.8FX.
I bought three tee shirts in three different colors with the Linhof logo on ebay last year. He was also selling shirts with the logos of other classic camera manufacturers. Unfortunately, I don't think the guy is still in business.
Take it for what it's worth, but as a woman, I would say, um, maybe something cooler instead? How about a nice indie band, or maybe a vintage concert shirt? No animals. No video games. No computer logos.
Unless you're married with children and then I would say, good idea. Hmmm, I wonder if my husband would go for that?
