I prefer using D-76 at 1+1 and discard; This gives me a constant development time and constant results and good economy!

When using ID11 i often develop 2 films in one tank, either 120 or 35mm, I count those 2 films developed in one tank as 1 film, so, for instance, I develop 2 rolls of film, 120 or 35mm, in fresh ID11, then next time I develop 2 rolls I add 10 %, the films are fine, the same as if I had only developed 1 roll, so you can get 20 rolls working this way per liter over at least 8 months with no problems, I have done it works fine, no problems, been doing this for a long time, sometimes theory and practise are different, tried it the first time just to see what happened, on some easily repeatable films, not looked back since
