TMY 2 development

Hello everyone,

I have to develop TMY 2 (120) film exposed at 400ISO.

The instructions I have for the great Wolfgang Moersch developers
(Finol & Tanol Speed) are a few years old.

It recommends @400 ISO, 10:00 min, diluted 1=1=100 at 24C. ,2 tilts

I assume this still refers to the older TMY. Does anyone have the latest developing info for the new Kodak 400 TMY 2 from W. Moersch?

I visited the Moersch website but it does not clearly state that it refers to the latest version of TMAX 400 or TMY 2

I hate to sacrifice a test roll as I am quite low on my latest stock of this film and have to have everything shipped.
What I have read so far is, that the TMY 2 requires slightly less development.

You can go to their website and find the info you need. Just click on the shop for and go to film developers, then click on the developer you want and they have a dev chart link that lists film and times.

Thank you Rick,

I have gone to the developing calculator, but unfortunately, it does not state if it is TMY2.
Perhaps with these developers it is the same time as with the old TMAX 400.

As far as I can se TMY2 is listed for both developers. For Finol the times are the same for TMY and TMY2 in 120 size but for 135 size only TMY2 is listed. For Tanol Speed only TMY2 is listed regardless of size.

Also look up the work of Willi Morali on Flickr. He uses a lot of TMY-2 roll film and Moersch developers. He has lots of practical experience with it, and is a super consistent photographer. http://www.flickr.com/photos/morali-willi/
He only speaks German, but if you send him a message in English, make sure it's in extremely plain English as he'll use the Google translator or similar.

I shoot TMY and TMY-2 , I use the same developing time for both with Pyrocat-HD and Rodinal, get great results.
