TMax 100 Xtol development times

Hi all,

I'm about to develop a few rolls of TMax 100 in Xtol 1:1 (120 roll film) and wanted to know the recommended development times.

The massive dev chart shows two sets of times while the Kodak website doesn't list the 1:1 dilution. More confusing is the stock times vary between kodak and massive dev chart

Massive Dev Chart (20C)
TMax 100 Xtol stock 100-200 7.5 minutes
TMax 100 Xtol stock 100 6.75 minutes
TMax 100 Xtol 1+1 100-200 9.5 minutes
TMax 100 Xtol 1+1 100 10 minutes

Kodak (stock solution - 20C) 7.5 minutes

Massive chart is basically a collection of what people do in their own darkroom. We know nothing about individual's shooting styles, metering skills, darkroom skills, accuracy, and everything else that will affect the result. In other words, it is useful to see what people do but they weren't done to a single uniform standard. Kodak's chart is made up of what Kodak did in their lab under very controlled and regimented environment. Personally, I use only Kodak's tech publication as my starting point.

As Matt says, Kodak publication does have time for Tmax 100 in 1:1.
