Hey All,
Finally realized this about myself: 1)I don't like square format shooting, and 2) I need pocket money fast. So I'm selling my remaining TLR's for bargain prices. Check out the photos and description, what you see and read is what you get. I ONLY SELL TO USA BUYERS:
#1) UGLY, DIRTY (aka "GREAT PATINA") (aka "GOOD USER") YASHICA-MAT. I bought this for 80.00 to see if I liked TLRs, figured I could fix it up later. Well, I don't really and I didn't. But guess what: the damn thing works and takes good pics. I love the color rendition and it's fun to use, but I just don't like the square. Slow speeds are off (Anything below 1/10 takes a geologic age) but 1/10 - 1/500 are pretty good, focus screen is bright and easy to see. There may be separation or fungus on the lens outer edges, or they are just dirty, doesn't seem to affect image quality. It has the Lumaxar f/3.5 lens, so it's an early model. Leatherette is coming off on the non-wind side. You have to make sure you've backed up the crank almost a full turn after winding, otherwise it seems like the camera is jammed, and you have to fire the shutter again to get it to move. This is a design feature, not a problem unique to this example. I haven't shot it in over a year so it's time form it to go. 60.00 obo, shipping extra.
#2) NICE CONDITION KODAK REFLEX II WITH LENS CAP, (BATTERED)BOX AND (DISINTEGRATING) CASE. The latter items gave their lives so the camera could look this sweet today. I love Kodak cameras and lenses, I just don't like the square. This one is in great visual shape, pretty clean, but slow speeds (under 1/10) are slooooowww. Has the Anastar 80mm f/3.5 lens (a spectacular performer) and a Fresnel screen so it's easy to focus. Takes great pics. ONLY TAKES 620 FILM -- which you can buy or respool since it's the same as 120 except for the spool. 90.00 obo, shipping extra.
Figure 12.95 Priority Mail shipping for both of these to the lower 48. Alaska and Hawaii extra of course. I pack well and I try to make it clear that these aren't museum grade items. I want you to be pleasantly surprised when you get the goods. Any questions, ask.
