I agree with Weston. Her early work could be very, very good, but as she became more committed to communism, her work became trite - too overtly political.

My photo teacher gave a 10 minute lecture about her one day. Pretty Interesting person...lots of photographs that i liked.

My point being, that that would make it hard for her photos to have been discovered in his estate.

Yes, in 1918 shortly before she met Weston. A few years later she had become Weston's model and more. Robo Richie died in Mexico in 1922, just before Tina and their friend Weston was to join him. A few weeks later she returned to America. In 1923 Tina, Weston, and Weston's son Chandler did go to Mexico. By 1926 Weston was back in America for good. After a tumultuous life Tina died early in 1942, having never remarried.
