I had the pleasure of meeting Tim many years ago, a true gentleman and a treasure to the traditional photographer.

Art & Fear, comes to mind along with several Caponigro's and Tice books.

Tim probably wouldn't mention that he is a fine photographer and I am fortunate to own one on his originals.

So sorry the age of technology has taken another treasure from us.

Tim also taught us how to take a trip by reverse example. We live near where he is from in Ohio. I asked how long a drive it would be. He said 15 hours with cat naps in rest stops. My wife, a painter, and I took three days, three museums and six book shops, instead.

Good interview, and sad to hear that he is closing - I had heard of his shop many times but never made it up there.
