I bought couple rolls of this new TMAX 400 "World's Sharpest!" film to try out. If it turns out likable, I'd buy a lot of it (you know, encourage film R&D that sort of thing.)
Does any one have suggestions for the times for Ilford DDX and Clayton F76+ developers? Since I only have two rolls, I can't afford to really experiment for times myself.
DOes the inside of the box still have an abbreviated development recommendation?
If so, compare to the old times and tweak your old time by ratio
But I doubt that the D times have changed so much that your old time would be a problem
I'd use whatever I could get per above for the first roll, and adjust the second, if even necessary.
"f8 and be there"
The Kodak box no longer has times, but it has printed on it a web address for you to go to find the same. It's probably better for Kodak, because they can now change the times if it turns out they goofed on them. They cannot recall boxes to change the printed times. In the past when they got it wrong, they were stuck to having to defend their errors.
BTW, digitaltruth.com also has some. But none for DDX or F76+.
