Timeless Theme - Affection of a Couple

The statue of Menkaure and queen has captivated me for decades. I bought the oval photo this summer. It was just a casual purchase but a couple of weeks later the wonderful similarity between the 4500 year old sculpture and the photo just got the better of me. I found it uncanny that both the sculptor and the photographer, several millennia apart, expressed a theme of partnership with similar nuance and delicacy. Or is it just me, lol?!
