I have a time-o-light timer that I would like to use a foot switch with. When I look online to find a foot switch the cost is more than I am willing to pay. I don't see how 90 to 120 USD is even reasonable. So I am wondering if I can buy a simple foot switch and adapt the male plug with a male cinch plug? However I don't know what size or designation the little two blade female plug on the timer is. Wondering if anyone here knows so I can shop for one the right size. When I measure the female socket the blades are 1/4 center to center apart. Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks,
D.

Okay, that's exactly the one I was looking at to order to see if it was the right size. I was looking at simple shop tool foot switches to wire the cinch plug to. I figured I would be all in for $30 USD. Thanks for the confirmation Nicholas.

Here is the auction link to the ones I purchased when I made mine. Ebay# 283228402443 I have been using them for a couple of years now without any problems.
