Nice composition, I think the original uncropped shot is great, and the cropped is good too. The cropped follows more of the "rules" but sometimes too many rules can make things less interesting.

Thanks, Ioccdor. It's just that little intruding bolder that irks me. I could go back and reshoot when tide is in a bit...

I like the un cropped version better. I am not particularly bothered by the rock, if I don’t let my eye linger there, but the more you look at it, the more distracting it is.

I too like the uncropped version better. The concept of the cropping is good, but in this case it would be too tight on the subject.

For me, the best framing of this shot is at 5.41/14.40 to the left of your camera in your video. But that is just my opinion.
