Which kit are you referring to ? Is it the ECO kit for B&W developing and if so are you asking about its quality from those who have used it or about whether it is value for money

If it is the former then I cannot help as I am not a user. I have had a look at the kit and its price and I do have some views about its value for money but unless it is this aspect you want to hear opinions about then I will say no more until I know what the word "opinions" means

Thanks

I'd like to know what do people that used the basic Ars-imago Development Film Kit think about it.

My experience of Photrio and I have been here for a lot of years is that if you don't at least one answer in 24 hours then nobody here has any experience of this kit . Sometimes newcomers to Photrio can be overlooked at first so just in case this has happened, try introducing yourself on Photrio and then introducing the subject you are interested in getting an answer to. That can help.

I am sure the kit will work. Any kit with developer, stop bath and fixer will work and do a reasonable job.

Good luck with some answers

while I see the benefits of an all-included box of chemicals for starting off, the main issue I would see is determining developing time for different films. Almost every film datasheet has times for D76. Most have times for HC110, Xtol, Rodinal. They are not going to list ArsImago developers. There is a good chance the chemicals they have packaged can use the times for another developer, but you'd have to determine that if you are going to use. There are a limited number of times on the Massive Dev chart here: https://www.digitaltruth.com/devchart-mobile.php?Film=&Developer=%Ars-Imago%&mdc=Search Unfortunately MDC times are community based, and not necessarily as reliable as manufacturer data sheets.

Thanks!, Maybe I'll try it in the future... For now I will stick with the most typical chemicals.
