I have found them at KHB but they seem pricey for what they are. Anyone want to point me in a direction here?

There is an Ebay seller who deals in high end camera and darkroom products:

http://stores.ebay.com/apogeebee

I have purchased a D-5 head from him and I felt it was a good price and it turns out it is in better than advertised condition. You may want to poke around his site or contact him directly.

Do you need just the flat metal clamps, or the whole baseplate assembly? If just the clamps and the tube spacers, I can measure mine and let you know the dimensions. They aren't anything mystical. Just a trip to the hardware store for a little bar stock and tube, then an hour or less of cut, drill and finish time will get you there. You can also check ebay under enlargers, Omega. I remember seeing a whole set a while back.

The clamp is 3/16" thick, 1" wide, and 1-1/4" long. It has a 17/64" hole centered 13/32" from one end. If you have access to a drill press, it will be easier, but it is doable with a hand drill. Center punch the hole location so that the drill bit doesn't wander before it starts to penetrate. Clean it up with a file, paint it black, and it'll look like a factory piece.
