I just picked up a Thomas Duplex Safelight for Black and White printing. The filters have one side that looks like there is a piece of tissue paper sandwiched between the glass on all of the filters. What I am trying to figure out is whether the the "paper" side faces the bulb or outside of the safelight. Any help is appreciated.

I don't know if they are the OC filters per se. Possibly, Thomas call them black and white filters. There is a set of red and a set of yellow filters.

Hi,
The yellow filters go in the body of the fixture and the red ones go in the wings. If you compare them one atop the other the yellow set should be slightly larger than the red.
