This week I am shooting with...

Tested my "new" Voigtländer Avus 9x12 with Steinheil Orthostigmat 6,8/135. It turned out to be an excellent little lens.

Speed Graphic, Nikon F, Minolta Maxxum 7000

Omega D6 - I've been behind in my printing!

This next week I will be one of the camp nurses at 4H camp. I will bring along my Nikon FM2, I will try and borrow my daughters Nikon EM so I can have one set up with color and one set up with Black and White, and the Zeis box camera. I would bring my Agfa Ventura but alas the holes in the bellows are too large to patch anymore so it will have to stay behind until I can fix it. I do need to find a Tlr! I think that will be my next MF camera. It is fun to see what everyone is shooting. Lori

ICA Volta 150 plate camera, Tessar lens in Dial Set Compur shutter, 2.5 X 3.5 inch, Rollfilm back with Ilford Delta 400

Just loaded and ready to "side by side test", Kodak Vigilant Six-20 w/F4.5, Franka Rolfix with F4.5 Radionar, Franka Solida IIIe with F2.8 Raionar....this will be my first time trying out these "folders" looking forward to seeing what the 6x9 format Fuji Acros 100 negatives look like. Recently bought a Bronica ETRS system (used to have one in the 80s but lost it in a divorce). I am anxious to see how these old 6x9s compare on 11x14 prints....who will win?

Spotmatic F - just arrived last Fri. from Keh - and I am loving it.

It was finally sunny enough here this past weekend to try some Adox CHS 50 outside, so I put a roll in my Zorki 4K with collapsible FED-50 lens (suitably old lens for the old-style film, I figure). Alas, I only got off a few shots - surprisingly little that was interesting up in local cottage country.

Hopefully this next weekend it will be both sunny and more interesting

Koni-Omega M - more with the 58mm lens than the 90mm.

Matt

Pinhole camera made from a cylindrical tea tin. Using paper negs & film. Also a Holga wide pinhole 6x12 which is great, except for when the 2 bits of foam fell out on the 4th roll.

Leaving on a trip Saturday morning. I will be bringing:

1. Canon kit - F-1, FTb, AE-1P (x2), 17/4.0, 28/2.0, 50/1.4, 55/1.2, 200/2.8 (It all fits in the Haliburton suitcase, so why not? The seemingly ridiculous redundancy has saved me in the past, and almost totally eliminates lens changes)
2. Nikon kit - F, 24/2.8, 35/2.0, 135/3.5 (FLs I don't have for Canon)
3. Blackbird, Fly (just in case - is small, weighs nothing, and fits in my Canon 35 case)
4. Nikonos, 35/2.5 (I hear that you can actually go jump in a lake in Michigan...and I also fully expect to run into some summer rainstorms at some point along the way.)
4. M645 kit - 2 bodies (1 plain, one 1000S), 55mm, 80mm (for hand held color)
5. RZ kit - 2 bodies, 65, 110, 210 APO (For tripod shots. I was unexpectedly offered the second body, the 65, and the 210 by a friend last night, so what the hell!)
6. Mamiya Press kit - Super 23/6x9, Universal/Polaroid (only bringing these to loan them to a friend in Chi Town)

I pack light.

In the past, the *only* items I have brought but not used on such trips have been 1. My Sunpak, and 2. The Blackbird, Fly. Everything else gets used...or else I just would not bring it.

Minolta SRT 101, while everything else is packed away for our move. I can't get enough of the Minolta. The 50mm f/1.4 MD lens is fabulous. I am using the Kodak chromogenic BW400CN film, also great.

Great cameras. I ended up giving my kit to a friend because I had come into it for almost nothing, and had Canon and Nikon stuff already. However, I always liked them, and they are about as dirt cheap as a quality SLR system can get.

I'm just going out with my Canon T90 loaded with Fuji Pro. 400X fitted with the FD 35-70 zoom.

This week I hope to be taking out the two cameras in the current travelling camera project. My Rolleicord has been neglected recently, I think I will take that out too.

Steve.

This week I am testing out an Agfa Solinette II and a Voigtlander Perkeo I, both won on eBay recently.

I must say, the Solinette is a delight to use, I hope the pictures live up to the ergonomics

I am using this week my Kershaw 120 folding half way through the film at the moment bought on ebay for £3
