It has nothing to do with HCB. His description of good photography is - geometry and something. Something was his moment, energy as he also described, not just obvious objects alignment.

I forgot which photog is already known, in terms of objects alignment, in color and digitally, maybe same as in article. It is eye entertaining photography. Very difficult to achieve if you have no gift for it. But not uncommon.

I dunno, the photos are striking but I always get the feeling with this style that he snapped 1,000 photos and after combing through them he found something significant.

Than again, I don't really appreciate this style of photography. Cartier-Bresson caught scenes of life. Just my two cents.
