I'm more-or-less centrally located between Peoria, Bloomington, and Springfield, Illinois. I'm in Pekin about once/week. Springfield about once a month, sometimes less. I almost never go to Peoria or Bloomington. Peoria is the only city near me that has a camera shop, and it's mostly digital; they stock almost no film. Since Creve Coeur Camera became St. Louis Photography School and closed all their camera stores, all my film buying has been online, and all my processing has been mail order with the exception of a few rolls of B&W that I've developed and scanned myself.
A bit OT for this thread, but Dwayne's Photo has recently reduced their price for E-6 processing from $8.95 to $7.50, but only if you pay online. I sent them a roll of 36 exposure Velvia 50 recently and paid online for developing, and the only price they had was for $7.50, but the printed order form says it's $8.95 for E-6. They developed and mounted my Velvia 50 for the $7.50 price, even though it was a 36 exposure roll and not a 24 exposure roll.
