I've had a Mamiya 7II system since last Autumn and have been generally pleased with the results, not so with the standard lens hood options; additionally my 65mm example was supplied second hand without the Mamiya hood.

Have any APUGers found a good option for a flexible, strong third party rubber lens hood (similar to the Bronica models)?

Actually I'm curious about this as well. I find the Mamiya hoods to feel cheap and awkward. The 43mm one barely does anything and the 210mm is like a plastic beer can you place on the end of the lens. I considered the screw-in type, but would like something better.

It's a lens hood. What do you want? Gold plated? The WA from mamiya is a bit weird in the attachment, the middle ones are heavy rubber and screw on. If you don't like the 210, use the medium length ones.

I always get this sort of thing on eBay. Super cheap, good quality and usually free shipping from Hong Kong. Why pay more?
