After some consideration (and a lot of soul-searching), I have come to the conclusion that, as someone who long ago gave up shooting professionally, I have far too many (Nikon) 35mm cameras. So, I have decided to thin out the herd a bit. Up for sale (with 10 per cent of each camera sale directed to APUG) are the following:

1. Nikon F3HP w/MD4/AH3. Camera is in really nice shape overall, with just a few minor paint chips on the base below the winder side of the camera. Camera comes with its original box/packaging/most of the paperwork, including instruction manual and warranty card (not filled out). Meter is accurate, LCDs are complete and pristine. Last rotation was April of this year; E100VS run through the camera. Body has the Type E screen, and I will throw in a Type D and K as well. Drive is late serial number, and is virtually mint. AH3 base-plate adapter is well-worn. $150.00 USD plus shipping.

2. Nikon F2A (black, 79xxxxx). Camera is well used but functional (camera was an eBay purchase of several years past; finder was purchased this last fall locally); DP-11 is in nice shape, considering its age (it almost looks too pretty to be sitting atop the body). Meter appears to be accurate; last rotation was in February of this year (Tri-X, if memory serves). Comes with a Type E screen, AR-1 soft shutter release and an AR-2 cable release. $135.00 USD plus shipping.

Will post pics in the next day or so when time permits or if requested.

As is my usual practice, I will ship only to Canadian or US addresses (sorry, folks, blame your revenue-hungry, protectionist governments!)

What do you mean by "last rotation"... is that the last time you used the equipment? I'm interested in photo of item #1, BTW, when you can.

Yes, "last rotation" was the last time I shot with the particular camera.

Could you be more specific? Apparently this is aimed at the Rest Of The World? Are you referring to custom taxes? Last I heard, they were paid by the buyer, not the seller.

Anyway, good luck with your sale.

I am well aware of where duties are assessed. My point was that, a camera that is affordable to some of our fellow APUGers at $150.00 USD, may not be so after duties/various customs charges/brokerage fees/taxes,etc are added. I remain absolutely astonished at the price differences between, say, an F2 or F3 body sold here in the NAFTA area and one sold in the EU - oftentimes the price difference can exceed 100 per cent!

An update:

1. Interest in the F3HP pending posting of pictures (waiting for the cable which connects the USB port to
the D800 so I can shoot some pics with the 55mm Micro).

2. No response re the F2A, so I am dropping the price to $110.00 USD plus shipping.

Same policy re shipping.

No interest in the F2A, so I am pulling the sale on the camera; the F3HP, etc. has had two expressions of interest thus far, subject to posting of some pictures. Smart guy here left USB-camera cable at the hotel in Banff; it has been picked up and will (should) arrive on Monday. Pictures will be posted thereafter.

All that may be true. However, it is the buyer who can look into his own wallet. We do not need help with that.

And, also good luck with your sale !

As noted above, Fotch, I am awaiting the return of my USB-camera cable, forgotten at a hotel in Banff. Somehow, photos shot with a Crackberry just wouldn't work - especially since one of the respondents requested detailed photos of the F3HP body. :whistling:

Sent a message a couple days ago but got no response at all!
