Developed a few rolls recently using the bottom dregs of a bottle of HC-110. You do not need to decant into small bottles to prevent its darkening and thickening, or toss it to "play it safe". It still works just as fine and with no change in times as if it was the first golden-honey pour from a freshly-opened bottle.

Private video.

It's neat how it changes so much and still works the same. I'm pretty well settled on it just because it's easy to get into a solid, repeatable routine with it. Especially using JBrunner's 1+49 direct dilution AKA Easy HC-110.

Can see it now.

I'm near the end of the bottle as well and it is more viscous but not as lumpy.

Interesting experiment -- and you don't have to sell me on HC-110's durability -- but I'd be reluctant to drop anything critical in developer that looks like that.

Not an experiment. I go thru 3-4 bottles of HC-110 a year and have for many years now and each get this gloppy, dark and gelatinous at the end. My point is it works fine. Not once but always.
