I have an older Seal press and am not sure of the thermostat accuracy. How can I check it? Perhaps a meat thermometer. Any other suggestions? And, at what temp should I be using for mounting fibre prints on archival matte board? Thanks, Jim S.

I believe Seal makes a test strip which indicates the temperature of your press. You can probably order them from Light Impressions or Calumet (or any other reputable graphic arts supply). Good luck.
