There's a New Store in Sydney Australia... Rewind Photo Lab!


I print Black and White in both RC and Fiber along with RA-4, Ilfochrome and an Ra-4 reversal line.

The Ra-4 reversal I do is a modified R3 processor that only prints up to 24inch width rolls. I rarely run it. The problem with doing so is the replenishment system for Ra-4 reversal. rep rates are not based just on meters of paper square but also on how the paper is exposed. I find in reproduction quality drifts and can b hard to control. I get a better result but mixing fresh batches of first developer for each print and using it strictly as one shot. This is not possible with the machine.

Yeah my favorite material for Ra-4 reversal was Ilford Ilfoflex supergloss RA-4 but now I use FujiFlex for the best result. these materials dont mottle like standard 'E' 'G' and 'N' paper stocks do.

Awesome to walk into a store with a few rolls and get asked if I want Matte or Glossy, it's been a long time since that last happened to me, about 20 years!

Just had a bunch of rolls processed by Rewind Photo Lab (conveniently located a 5 minute walk from my office)

Here's a couple of images from a recent trip to Europe (processed and scanned by Rewind Photo Lab). Expired Provia 100F, left out of the fridge for a long time
