My error - it was actually Kentmere 100 & 400; is this made by Ilford for Kentmere? Th box indicates it is made by Harman Technology and the fonts used are *very* close to those used on the Iford boxes.
This is all very simple:
Imagine that you have a shop on the ground-floor of a house and you live upstairs with your family.
Your shop is called Ilford and your family name is Harman.
Imagine your wife makes some very nice cakes and you sell them in your shop. So, they are Ilford cakes.
Your daughter does beautiful biscuits and she decides to name them Kentmere to distinguish them from her mother's cakes.
You do some baking as well and decide you are going to do some rolls and name them with your surname, so you do Harman rolls.
The same thing goes for Harman Technology Ltd. That is the name of the company, actually just 6 former Ilford managers, that bought the Ilford factory.
They make Ilford films and papers. They also make in the same place, same machines the Kentmere films and papers.
They do also make Harman inkjet papers and pinhole cameras.
And a simple search on the forum would have told you all of the above, except my little story! That is new!
