It's great to see younger photographers still use film for their medium. This exhibition showcases 5 women Japanese photography artists, 2 of whom use film as their medium of choice. They are "Girl Photography" practitioners countering the very definition.
Onodera Yuki - captures second hand clothes given aways by a fellow artists as part of performance art.
Kawauchi Rinko - takes snapshot style color film pics using Rolleiflex of everyday scenes and objects as she sees them daily - her theme is "Cui Cui", the French onomatapoeia for bird like sounds - it's poetic hypnotic in its simplicity and speaks to me a fellow medium user
