I´m afraid the photographic stores in Mexico City are speculating with film and equipment, too. The "dollarquake" was invited to salesmen to push the prices for some materials that some dedicated photographers as me likes to buy, like Neopan Acros 120, that used to cost 28.00 mexican pesos, equal to $ 2.70 two months ago, and Provia 100F 120 that used to cost 45.00 pesos; some like $ 4.00.
Instead, Neopan Acros is now on 55.00 pesos ($ 4.20), 'cause you can afford it only in one store in all the city...
In addition, the most of stores are reducing the availibility of different products, they haven't ever bring to Mexico products like Provia 400X, or Neopan Acros in 35mm, and, recently, Ilford papers, saying they don't exist anymore when they want to sell you other paper.
