Today at work a customer came in with some prints from 35mm color negs done at cvs that were kinda crappy, and he noticed so asked if we could make reprints from his negatives. Aside he made a comment that he should probably move to digital soon being too old fashion with film. I quickly explained the endless benefits of film and the Many different kinds he can choose from with so many characteristics and with many varying results due to actual chemical dispersions in gelatin reacting to light other than one digital sensor with fake masking modes to the initial exposure, also the many problems of digital files , hot pixels and how it's just a forced market that isn't worth the results for the ease of use. He said he never really looked at it that way and I explained where he can get film and how I , being only 18 shoot 4x5 with access to many types of films and chemicals and such. In the end he bought some film and I wrote down my favorite sites to buy film from and he left with a better look on photography.
