Gives new meaning to, "Firing off a few shots".

Would be a fun thing to at least try, if not have.

Mick.

We recently had a long discussion (based on a Zenit Fotosniper) on whether we may/dare to use weapon-like camera outfits.
(Can't find the thread.)

Nope... silly as it may seem, something like that could get you literally shot by a cop or someone with a concealed handgun license but not enough restraint.

Camera stocks were very popular in the late 40's and through the 50's, especially for movie cameras. My Dad used to go moose hunting with some friends in Canada back in the 50's. One of his friends had a stock for his B&H 16mm camera. Canadian customs confiscated it, stating it looked like a stock for a handgun, which was illegal in Canada. Just shows, looks and impression are more important than fact and function, then and now.

It's a good thing he didn't ask the Canadian cop if he had been eating doughnuts.. As his eyes looked glazed....
