The Time-O-Lite Bounce

I know I shouldn't be using one, but I just the way the look so much...

Anyway, I have a "professional" model and it actually is pretty damned accurate when I use my iPhone to test it. However, when the timer resets itself, the red hand flies back against the chrome "set me with this hand" and knocks it from where ever I had originally set it by a second or two... and that sucks.

Does anyone know if there is a way to tighten the "set me with this hand" hand so that it doesn't budge when the little red hand comes flying back into it?

There's a set screw in the collar holding the hand ~ 1/16".
If you look at the back of the red one, there's one there too. You need to move the red hand about 5-10 seconds CCW and the one for the set me hand is visible.

I love my old, art deco styled Time-O-Lite; it really ties the darkroom together.
