…is the shutter of a Minolta x-700

just thought I’d share that

I really like my X 700, one of the best manual focus bodies I have.
I had one forever—got it as a throw in when I bought some other stuff—but never had a chance to check it out. But I picked it up and I love it. Haven’t even seen a picture yet. It just feels and sounds good

I remember selling a lot of them back in the early 80s. Really nice camera. I preferred the X570 though.

Yes. The X570 did not have the program feature, just aperture priority and manual. It came out after the X700.

I think both were built on the same chassis, the 570 also had LED meter readout. Not sure if the 570 took the motor drive or just the winder. Both took all SR lens.

I enjoyed the Minolta X700 for years and brought one for my daughter.
