The Story Behind "Vernal Fall" by Ansel Adams

Thanks for posting that, Sirius! Nice read; I like these little reflections/anecdotes.
I now realize that one of the images I was printing for a friend some months ago (she dropped off a roll of C41 film and I processed it for her and pulled some prints) was of this waterfall, but standing at the top looking down. I guess it's a popular tourist spot?
 

Yes it is for those that have the energy and stamina to do the hike round trip.
