I've occasionally wanted to do something similar. Find the subjects classifications, categorize your work to-date and find the photographic categories you've covered. Look where there are gaps in your photography.

I've photographed spirits before... and then I drank them leaving them as only empty shells of what they once were. Every time it was a supernatural experience. Maybe I should've been a Shaman. Alas, it's too late for that and I must remain a simple old sot.

After looking at this list I can tell I need to do more "spirit photography."

Sometimes I bring a glass of scotch into the darkroom (being careful to distinguish it from Dektol). Would this count as spirit photography?

Take a holiday to Arles in France for their annual photography festival. If that doesn't stimulate your creative juices then there's no hope for you.
