Did anyone else photograph this? I did not expect this effect but it's what I got.

Full moon on New Year's, we had high overcast and drunken full mooners to cope with.

Will be another one at end of month - and lunar eclipse, too (but for west coast, eclipse is within hours of dawn).

I did print out some info on that, but it was down into single digits F here, and I just couldna get inspired. During the last big hoopla about a super moon, someone on Facebook posted an "if you missed it" photo showing that you could spread out a soft tortilla on your window for a good simulation.

I also printed out about the end of month stuff, mayhaps the weather will be less hostile to outdoor activity then.
