But there is one thing I don´t get. The is a large analogue photography community with 50.000+ (correct me if I am wrong) members. I do know that everybody needs the occasional coffee mug or t-shirt, but photrio is about our particular photographic needs. These include PE´s and Denises´ books, semi-exoctic chemicals, ancient and current photographic books, prints, film & dry plates & papers and much more. It is nice to have the t-shirt and the MPhotrioGA-Cap, but all the rest - Maybe in the form of a speciality marketplace - would be much more interesting.

Yeah, multi-currency support doesn't seem workable from what I can tell. Paypal will do the conversion before you submit your order, but I'll see if I an add a currency conversion widget.

OK. Yes, PayPal does an excellent job with conversion at invoice stage (my experience with eBay). I was thinking of something like the xe.com widget (Android) too, as a less complex way of integrating at-a-glance currency comparison.

Cycling socks, beanies, scarves, gloves, pens... Lots of things to throw in the evolving merchandise mix. Maybe even a cashmere Burberry trench coat with Photrio detailing...?

Some time you might consider an EU outlet. Let me tell you what happens in Denmark, if i buy something from outside the EU, worth more than 10 dollars excl.freight.
First the is a small import tax. Then add the normal tax of 25%. Finally you have to pay the handling fee to the PostDenmark of 160 dkk = $24. Then of course the freight has to be added in the end.
If i bought at T-shirt under these conditions i would have to keep it in the safe all the time, as it would be the most expensive piece of clothes in the world.
This is also the reason i really would like sellers of gear to state from which part of the world they are situated.

Whether a EU citizen imports something himself or buys imported via an EU outlet is financially basically the same from the customs point of view.
However as private person one may have to pay quite high shipping costs, the same time cheap items may be imported free of any duties and tax. (The limits vary between EU countries). In case the item goes via the customs it might result in terrible hassle...

Buying via an EU outlet would be in any case hasslefree and in most cases cheaper.

I've added a currency conversion widget to every main category page. That should work for now. I'll see if I can find a way to tie it directly into the shop. I can do socks and beanies, will add some of that tomorrow. I am also looking into pens, stickers, etc.

This service will detect your location and then produce/ship the item from either the US or EU. I think in NZ we have up to $400 before import charges but that may have changed recently to a bit lower.

My chest size is 102cm, I am unable to work out which shirt will fit, or am I missing something?

Not that I need another ball style cap, but I'm thinking the same about the name or logo meaning being lost too. A thought about the cap with the name front and back would be to trade off the rear embroidering for verbiage below the main logo on the front for a bit of definition there maybe.
Film vs Digital, Film & Digital, Film meets Digital, Film + Digital, Film-Hybrid-Digital, Analog to Digital. Again, maybe to keep the price in check trade off the rear embroidery for a catch phrase of meaning just under the main front logo.

They look equally as ridiculous in the US, but wear them (and other things) anyway. Along with flip flops in restaurants.

More and more, I see parents in their 30s or 40s, out in public with their children, and the parents are dressed like they are still in high school and it's the weekend!

Many of the guys I know are never seen in public without a ball cap. My husband always has one for whatever sports season it is. Yes, a baseball hat with a hockey team logo for winter, etc..

As for logos on shirts, a two minute walk down a sidewalk in Pittsburgh during the day would likely net you 5 or 6 Steelers shirts (American football team in Pittsburgh in case someone hasn't heard of them), a few shirts with messages or non-football logos, and three guys wearing shirts with collars. And the guys with collars might be wearing a Steelers jackets over the collared shirt if it's cool weather. Pittsburgh is NOT a fashionable city, but logos on shirts are pretty common everywhere I've lived in the US.

I wear hats because I have to. I hate them. When I wear a tee shirt I am usually saying "You are not important enough for me to put on a decent shirt."

I am forever misplacing pens. Even those with my name on them never find there way back to me... If I had a man-bun, I could stick a pen or two in that and never be worried about losing it. Maybe...

I agree, and hope at some stage we expand to 'hosting' products for many clients but it's a matter of manpower to manage such a thing which could get pretty complex.

I got a couple sample shirts today. They look great. These are the basic unisex T's. Some might find them a bit lightweight but I prefer lightweight tees for summer and at the gym. I'll add some heavier weight brand shirts to the shop today.
