The old which b&w Film question!

Hello fellow APUGgles, and APUGlettes, would anyone care to guide me to a proper film to shot this type of photography, yet, maintain all the greatness of film, despite the fact that I the photographer should be the main thinker! I like grain at times, but, i think a low grain would suit me well! I want everything capable of a film, aside from it composing the photo form me, lol! I need the ability to aide user error, plus the fact that I am going to go the Caffenol route as well! i added a color photo, but assumed as its a black and white sub-forum, it be self explanatory!

You won't get color in Caffenol, you know.

There's not really a "proper" film for anything apart from, you know, the film you can get to do what you want it to do. If you're set on using Caffenol, the faster films seem to be a little touchier in it and you might want to use something in the 100-speed range, but on the whole I think we tend to make too much out of choices of equipment and materials. They're all films, they all turn temporary light into permanent light; just take something and go with it. That's my $0.05.

Fuji Acros and Rollei Retro 80s work well in Caffenol.

Very cool, I'll add these to my list! The more the merry, and I can shoot again, once and for all! I owe it to a few member's here for aiding in me with my quest, some for buying my items, and trusting me, and some for selling me items, and believing in me as well! Would you know of any already made Caffenol mixe, for the lazy layman as myself?! xD

I have had serious consideration regarding this substance, but, I didn't have the funds, to proceed! I had a few posts over at FredMiranda under their film sub-forum, asking any informed person about this, with just a few users actually serious about its use in the coveted film world! Well, things changed, time went by, the tax man axed me further, my daughter's hospital bills came in, and cuts needed to be had! I was actually selling a few items still over at freds, but, my big mouth got me banned! I swear just because some wanna be moderator that has over 2k posts, and whatnot, engages in hostile posts with me, I end up getting account locked! I always felt Fredmiranda was immunized from this, boy was I wrong, and paid the ultimate price!
