We all take pictures for different reasons, and to make different pictures.
Myself, I'm pretty close to Andy's viewpoint, but less from the Zen POV but from a craftsman's place,
I use my tools not to change my materials, but to change myself.

It was a shock to realise that every picture I've ever made is a self portrait.
I wish I had been warned !
