As announced, here is my article about the Minox escapement. I've been working on this topic for four months and it took so long because there was practically no information on this topic. At least a practical, easy to understand and fully illustrated description was missing.

At the beginning of last year I happened to come across the Porst KX50 (= Yashica Atoron) that my father had treated himself to for his 50th birthday in 1970. When I opened it, there was still a film (in Minox format) inside. Then I wanted to hold a real Minox in my hands. After I saw how cheap they (Minox B) are today, I bought one. In the last 16 months I simply had to buy another 12 Minox. Putting them in a display case is too boring for me, I want to take photos with them. And above all, I want to understand how they work so I can repair them myself. This is an ongoing process for me. I actually expressed my enthusiasm here recently:
