Some of you may remember the loaner program where I loaned out a Koni in exchange for a couple prints... (you can search for MF Loaner Program) anyway the last victim is the wife of a fellow I work with. They ended up moving while she had the camera, and it certainly did drag out a little longer than expected. However (and this is the good part) she has purchased a Pentax 645 !! Woo-hoo, someone else infected!
So, after I got my Koni back, I was checking it out and discovered that the shutter sticks on occasion. It turns out that she did have a few "blank" images, but she thought it was her fault ( I apologized). I will have to have the shutter worked over before I can loan the camera out again, but with Greg Weber just up the road it shouldn't be too bad. Maybe I can get him to swap a repair for a dinner.
Sure does feel good to be the cause of someone spending cash on a <gasp> Film Camera...
