Hello Team,

Currently have 150mm lens on 4x5 Busch, in your experience, what is the longest lens for use on this camera?

240mm. 250mm maybe 300mm?
Big plasmas will not work in this application but what say You.

Thank you for your input on this.

Well, what exactly do you mean by practical?

I used to own a Tachihara 4x5 with 13" of bellows draw. I owned a 300mm Nikkor M that was great for landscapes but I could only focus it down to about 15' if I remember correctly. I put a 250mm on it and was able to do a head and shoulders portrait at full bellows extension.

I've never owned a Bush Pressman. I'm guessing that you may have 12" of bellows at full extension? A 210mm would be practical. Of course if you do not focus very closely a longer focal length may be to your liking for landscape work.

I had the model "D" and used a Fuji 210mm L and the Kodak 203mm Ektar, but if I remember right I had more bellows draw left after the 210mm Fuji. How much more I don't really remember, but I think 300mm. I had no urge to go beyond 210mm so I can't help you there, but you would have to find a 250mm or 300mm that was in a small shutter since the Bush D has a tiny lens board. JohnW
