Shocked I tell you. The world is clearly going to hell in a digitally-simulated handbasket.

That said -- Ailsa, that photo by Alex Howe on pg 38 -- <3 <3 <3

(Google up "Derrick Coyle" to see lots of photos of him -- all predictable and dull. Howe comes in and ad libs a terrific and deep evocation. Ka-pow. The reason? IMO, because he didn't photograph the suit. Or the Tower. He photographed the man, who wears the suit for a reason. Such a simple thing.)

No more Ailsa, I don't think. Not for a month or two. Most recent B&WP I've seen was October and it seemed to be swinging up as far as image quality and interest.
