In my film holder bag I keep a piece of stiff poster board cut into a long right triangle. I can insert it as needed between the bellows and bed to put the bellows in place. Lightweight and thin.

...and the elusive photograph. Half the time I never know where to post my videos, so I stuck it here.

Really fun to watch.

One suggestion, if I may. Storing film holders in a plastic Ziplok or similar bags is generally not a great idea because these bags tend to build static electricity and thus attract dust. (At least it looks like that what you were using.)

I long ago switched to using anti-static ESD bags made of the same material electronic components like motherboards are shipped in.

Golden Ears... Great David Bowie song. 🙃

(And now you can't un-hear it, right? 😆)

I would be concerned in Saskatchewan, which has a very dry climate...we're talking killer static. Static charge can build up, even from pulling the slide out to quick. So, when I'm back in my home province, anti-static sheets slipped into the bag seem to help. Here on the west coast, it's fine. Moister air.

Andrew, does something in the far off landscape resemble Golden Ears? I couldn't get the thought of what Vincent might have done with his remaining good ear has his two ears been gold, gíven the price increase recently or Frank Sinatra with his arm 😄

You cannot see the formations from where I was. One has to move about a kilometre to the east. It has a double summit that visually resembles animal ears. It was originally called Golden Eyries (meaning a nest for eagles), but probably changed over time to Golden Ears. They glow golden during sunset, especially when snow capped.

I just was hoping that you didn't hike 10 miles back to the car before you remembered the Gopro on the tripod 😁 .

Been there. Done that!
