The Devil's in the details

Freestyle sent an email advertising their clearance sale on 24 exp, 35mm rolls of Arista EDU Ultra 100 (Fomapan 100) for just $3.29. It had expired last month, but still seemed like a great deal. However, I noticed further down the page they had the same film that was NOT expired for $4.89 a roll in 36 exposure. So 20 rolls of the expired film would give you 480 frames for $65.80, or for $1.66 more you could buy 14 rolls of the non exp film in 36 exposure form and get 24 extra frames. Weird.

Considering packing/package, shipping, etc costs and all that are the same if it is a 24 or a 36 exposure rolls, per shot, 36 rolls have always been cheaper.

BOGOF! No that is not me being gratuitously rude but challenged by spelling. It is an acronym for the variation on scam on "Buy one, get one free" ploy used by U.K. supermarkets. In some cases the scam was that 500g was £1 but 2kg was £4.20. OK I have used very simple maths for illustration but essentially the scam was relying on shoppers being blinded by the notion that a bigger quantity has to be more economical and not having the mental arithmetic abilities to do the maths on the spot to ascertain that it was not cheaper

In many ways we live in a very sad world now where exploitation is the norm. I have to go as the phone is ringing and it might be someone trying to help me by getting me out of my inadvertent joining Amazon Prime or my parcel delivery delay Once I give some personal details they will take care of everything

Yes but I've asked for that call to be this afternoon to avoid the Amazon Prime guy being unable to get through
