Mine found it's way all the way up to Sweden. Interesting to see that it takes longer time for custom clearance than for shiping over the North Sea. It will be lots of nice reading.

Steve, are you going to have an address or webpage where we can point to potential printing errors?

I don't think there has been a single book published in the History of the World that didn't misprint or get something wrong.

Is there going to be an Errata page/site?

Thanks.

One such error is forgetting to indicate which form of sodium carbonate, anhydrous or mono, goes in ID-78 print developer.

Yes, if anyone is under the assumption my comment was insulting (not you Alex), that was not my intention

Shepherding a technical book from inception to publishing is an incredibly complex task and errors undoubtedly creep into the process. There is a Darkroom Cookbook forum, but it appears to be underused and rarely updated.

My question is; should we start our own Eratta thread here or make an effort to update the forum?

Totally agree.

And I promise I won't sue because my ID-78 is missing a little over 10g of sodium carbonate .

Also, the amount of carbonate in print developer doesn't matter. If it's working too slow, add carbonate.

Darkroomcookbook.com has always had an errata section but I see no corrections for the new edition. Steve's board is still active (I was just there) but nothing on the new edition, so far.

@Mark Osterman

In DCB #5 on page 283, in your "Making a Simple Silver Bromide Gelatin Emulsion" Equipment and Materials lists: ""Two 1 x 1 inch marble tiles or 1/4 inch glass plates".

Am I wrong is assuming that should be 12 x 12?

Yes, it was earlier, but now I am getting, "Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR" when I try to connect.
